Mansoura Engineering Journal (MEJ) is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal. It is owned and published by the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt since 1975. Since its issuance in 1976, the journal used to be published under the title "The Bulletin of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University." Then, since 1986, it is published under the title "Mansoura Engineering Journal (MEJ)." MEJ covers a broad scope covering all areas of engineering research and developments, including but not limited to the following fields: computer engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, textile engineering, chemical engineering and mathematics, natural science engineering, interdisciplinary fields of engineering sciences, and biomedical engineering and bioengineering.
The average time for the first decision taken by the managing editor is 12 weeks. The average total time from the submission to acceptance is 18 weeks. The average time from acceptance to publishing is 6 weeks.
