Mansoura Engineering Journal (MEJ) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal owned and published by the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt. The journal has been in continuous publication since 1975. It was originally issued in 1976 under the title The Bulletin of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, and since 1986 has been published under its current title, Mansoura Engineering Journal (MEJ).

MEJ publishes high-quality original research and review articles covering a broad spectrum of engineering research and technological developments. The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to, architectural engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and engineering, mechanical engineering, textile engineering, chemical engineering, mathematics and natural sciences in engineering, bio-engineering, and interdisciplinary engineering sciences.

The journal maintains an efficient peer-review and editorial process. The average time to first editorial decision is approximately 7 weeks, the average time from submission to acceptance is 14 weeks, and the average time from acceptance to publication is 6 weeks.
