About This Journal
History
Mansoura Engineering Journal is an international peer-reviewed journal since 1975; articles are freely accessible. It is owned and published by the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt. Since its issuance in 1976, the journal used to be published under the title "The Bulletin of the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University". Then, since 1986, it is published under the title "Mansoura Engineering Journal (MEJ)".

Editorial Board
We have an international editorial board that covers all the disciplines of Engineering to provide the authors with an objective and constructive peer review system through their expertise. Submission of Manuscripts
We welcome the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria with regard to the significance and scientific excellence. All articles are duly peer-reviewed prior to publication in MEJ.
Publishing Schedule
The journal publishes 6 issues per volume each year.
Plagiarism
MEJ takes issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism, or other breaches of best practice in publication very seriously. Each submitted article is checked with plagiarism-checking software. Any article that exceeds the permissible ratio of plagiarism is rejected.
Article Processing Charges
Currently, there are no Article Processing Charges (APC) for publication in the journal on all submissions since 1/1/2023.
Copyright
The MEJ is an OPEN ACCESS journal. No subscription fees are charged to readers for accessing the journal or reading articles. MEJ provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles available freely online are more often cited and have a greater impact than those not freely available. Immediately after publication, authors may post papers on the author's personal or institutional archival Web site.
All articles are permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. Permitted reuse is defined by the following user licenses: Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
Archiving
MEJ is preserved in CLOCKSS and Portico, the two leading preservation archives that guarantee persistent access for the very long term. Articles also receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) from the CrossRef organization to ensure they can always be found.
