Abstract

The strategy of Architecture Education in Mansoura University is to establish a comprehensive and balanced scientific plan for the educational system and curriclium which can be developed in the future. It based on two major axis, the first one is the application of the system of stages. The preparatory year is the first stage, through it the students study the basic science. The second and third stages comprise the students in first and second years and studeuts in third and fourth years respectively in the architectural engineering department. In the second stage students study the engineering and Architectural basic sciences but mainly in the third stage they have the applied sciences. The second axe of the educational strategy based on the options sciences in the third stage of the plan which lead to three specific architectural branches in the Bachular project at the end of the plan. The branches are: architectural design, building science and urban planning. These branches of the project can be developed in the seconed stage of the educational strategy in the future to be not only for the Bacnular project but also as a separate specific study in the third stage of the plan. The third stage of the educational strategy is, to establish a new faculty of architecture and urban planning belong to Mansoura University which has a separate speific educations in the architectural and urban planning field.
