Abstract
shedding schemc is suggested considering the priorities of loads. Also, the proposed method takes into account the effect of reconfiguration process on the system protection scheme and the reliability level of the system. The method was applied to two test systems. The first is IEEE 16-bus three feeders system, and the seeond is a part of 11 kV distribution system in Mansoura city. The obtained results show the effectiveness of the proposed method in reducing the system losses, improving the system voltage profile, and relieving loads on feeders and transformers. Moreover, the method is successfully applied to restore electric supply into the faulted sections from alternative feeders.
