Abstract

The growth of informal areas on public land, is one of the important challenges facing governments, as it is a complicated problem with many social, security, economic and human rights dimensions, as a result the International Human Rights Organizations and the Egyptian Constitution 2014 has given it great importance as a critical issue. Accordingly, the research methodology discusses. this in details through. Theoretical Study: Land Management System in Egypt including: Independent authorities, Specialized organizations, Unified Construction Law 119/2008. Applied Study: Case Studies of Informal Areas in Egypt: The research deals with three case studies of informal areas which are: Ezbet Khairallah in Masr Elkadeema district, Nozha 2 in El-salam district, Qadisya lands in Cairo - Ismailia Desert Road, So the paper focuses on the illegal dimensions of its growth on public land and actions that have been taken from the governmental organizations towards it and evaluates the results. Finally the research suggests many recommendations and procedures so the governments can avoid the growth of those areas
